I've been listening to Steve Earle since the day I heard the song Guitar Town. I bought the album right away...if I'm not mistaken I picked it up downtown Toronto and the original Sam The Record Man on Yonge Street. Being heavily into Poco at the time, I loved the country rock sound, but it was the lyrics that drew me into the music. Songs like Someday, My Old Friend The Blues, Guitar Town and one of his greatest, Little Rock 'n Roller were right in my wheelhouse. In fact, as a DJ I used to end the night occassionaly with Little Rock 'n Roller even though nobody knew the song....but they danced, nonetheless! Exit-0 came out the next year and to this day it's one of my all-time favorite albums. With each new album I became a bigger and bigger fan and have enjoyed each release he has graced us with over the years.

Fast forward 30 years and Steve is coming to play 4 of our Light of Day Canada shows including one in my own Guitar Town...I mean hometown! Amazing!
